About Amberlynn Bishop Photography
I’m a 29-year-old photography-based artist, born in Bitburg, Germany and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina. My personal artwork often explores themes of family dynamics and culture—looking inward at my own experiences to better understand the world around me. Beyond my personal work, I have a deep love for photographing people and capturing meaningful moments in their lives. I work primarily with natural light to create images that feel genuine, warm, and true to the moment.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in Photography, from the School of Fine Arts and Communication at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. After graduating, I spent three years teaching high school art, sharing my passion for creativity with young artists. I now work with individuals with special needs, providing support services while continuing to pursue photography professionally—balancing care, creativity, and community in everything I do.
